SPARKING Out of SAD with Violet Benny

For as long as she can remember every year when the clocks roll back and the daylight dwindles actress and comedian Violet Benny has lost her shine. Feeling depleted from a lifelong battle with SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder - Violet went in search of something that could help. This year, when we turn the clocks back on November 3rd, Violet will be ready and not just because she’ll be deep into the second run of SPARK, but because of the work she’s done and shares on the SPARK stage. In July (2024) SPARK, a transformative theatrical experience of personal stories, movement, and soul-stirring music created and produced by Tami, hit the stage and sold out shows. Told through the voices of 10 women, SPARK delves into themes of identity, loss, love, and growth. It reveals true life-changing moments were divine intervention or instinct takes control, leading to a spark that nurtures the spirit and lights the path ahead.
